TOUR SAIGON – CU CHI – MY THO 2D1N

DAY 1: SAIGON - MY THO - BEN TRE (LUNCH)

• Morning: 08:00: Car and tour guide pick you up at the meeting point.
• The group begins the tour around famous destinations in the city such as:
• WAR REMNANTS MUSEUM: is a place to preserve and display wartime relics.

• INDEPENDENCE PALACE (RE-UNIFICATION PALACE): an attractive tourist destination not to be missed when coming to Saigon. Independence Palace with its architectural style implies the desire for the nation's eternal existence.

 

• NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL: One of the destinations that creates the image of Ho Chi Minh City. Built in 1880, Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral is not only the most important religious place in the city, but also a unique French-style architectural work in Vietnam.

• HO CHI MINH CITY POST OFFICE: Located at 2, Cong Xa Paris Square, District 1. The post office was built between 1886 and 1891 by the famous architect Gustave Eiffel. The building has an architecture with roofs and arched windows reminiscent of the first train stations in Europe. The front of the building is decorated with rectangular panels, naming the inventors of the telegraph and electricity industry. The Central Post Office is currently the largest post office in Vietnam.

• Lunch: After finishing the four attractions in the center of Saigon, the car and tour guide will take the group to have lunch at the city's restaurant.
• Afternoon: The group departs for Cu Chi to visit Cu Chi tunnels - Learn how the Vietnamese guerrillas built, lived and fought in the tunnels: CU CHI TUNNELS - the place where the land of steel and the wall of bronze. It is known that the tunnels were dug and built from the time of the resistance war against France and the US until the 1968 Tet Offensive, the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam used this tunnel system to attack Saigon.

• After watching the documentary, visitors will experience crawling under a 70m long tunnel, which used to hide thousands of cadres and soldiers. The place where they lived, studied and treated wounded soldiers in the past was also through this tunnel. This is the most thrilling, exciting and wonderful time when coming to the tunnels.

• In particular, when exiting the tunnel, visitors will enjoy the famous cassava dish with sesame salt during the resistance war. This is the food that fed thousands of our soldiers and officers during the difficult and deprived days. In addition, visitors also have the opportunity to observe the process of local people making rice paper and rice wine. Besides, visitors also have the opportunity to shoot guns at the shooting range in the tunnel (at your own expense).
• Evening: The car takes you to the hotel, you check in, rest, have dinner on your own. Overnight in HCMC

 

DAY 02: SAIGON - MY THO - BEN TRE (LUNCH)

• Morning: 06:00 - 06:30: The car and tour guide pick you up at the hotel and depart for Tien Giang, starting the Western Tour.
• Arriving in My Tho city, you move to the pier boat. You get on the Tien Tourist Boat, you experience the immense feeling of the Tien Giang River, admire the scenery of the four Cu Lao Long, Lan, Quy, Phung. The boat runs along the floating fish raft for visitors to learn about the local people's fish farming methods and admire Rach Mieu Bridge.
• Arriving at CU LAO THOI SON, you will walk on the village road, visit the daily life of Cu Lao people, visit the fruit garden, enjoy the culinary culture of the local people, enjoy seasonal fruits and listen to Don Ca Tai Tu, a typical cultural art here, then you will come to the Honey Bee Farm, enjoy Honey Lemon Tea.

• Next, you will get on the Rowing Boat to experience rowing a three-leaf boat through the rows of water coconut trees, feel the wild natural scenery of the garden, return to the big boat, go down the Tien River, the boat will take you to Ben Tre province to visit Ben Tre's Special Coconut Candy Factory, in Tan Thach commune. Take a horse-drawn carriage/lam car to visit the village roads of Tan Thach commune so that visitors can admire the orchards and the simple life of the people of the coconut land.
• Noon: You will have a lunch at local restaurant with the typical style of the Southwest region, with dishes typical of the Mekong Delta, you will feel strange and especially delicious.

• Vinh Trang Pagoda was built in a synthetic architectural style, a fusion of Asian and European architecture such as French, Roman, Thai, Cambodian and Cham architecture. The pillars and corridors on the left side of the temple will give you the feeling and scenery of a corridor in Europe…
